OMRAS2 resources include but are not limited to:

  • Music Ontology provides main concepts and properties for describing music (i.e. artists, albums, tracks, but also performances, arrangements, etc.) on the Semantic Web.
  • Sonic Visualiser is an application for viewing and analysing the contents of music audio files.
  • Vamp is an audio processing plugin system for plugins that extract descriptive information from audio data — typically referred to as audio analysis plugins or audio feature extraction plugins.
  • Sonic Annotator (informally known as Runner) is a command line utility for batch processing of audio files with Vamp plugins.
  • Harmonic Visualiser is a software that allows for complex analysis and manipulation of the spectral attributes of audio content
  • AudioDB is an advanced content-based feature database and indexer.
  • mHashUp is a graphical user interface to AudioDB
  • MyPySpace is an opensource software project for the analysis of social networks of music artists on MySpace.
  • SoundBite is a play listing plugin for iTunes that uses content-based features to create playlists of similar songs with one click.
  • SBSparql is a SPARQL endpoint exposing the features data collected by various instances of SoundBite.
  • Classical Music Universe is an interface for browsing information about classical composers based on Semantic Web technologies
  • DBTune hosts a number of services, providing access to music-related structured data, in a Linked Data fashion. It now provides access to more than 14 billion RDF triples. All the services hosted at DBTune are based on open Web standards such as RDF and SPARQL.
